Well after a long drive from Katoomba, stopping for lunch on the Hawkesbury to watch the ski racing, and a little accident at the servo (a few external repairs needed for the camper) we arrived at Seal Rocks and set up in between Bill and Judy and Brian and Helen. Just what we needed, a bit of elderly attention, after taking different paths to Joan and E, who went to the Hunter Valley. Well the surf was absolutely going off and has stayed that way for the last couple of days cranking off the reef and producing one of the best right handers in the country. So we half put up the injured camper and went for a splash; putting a roast on, setting the rest of the camper up and doing the washing when we got back in the dark. There is practically nothing here apart from a little general store up the road and the beaches are pristine- very relaxing. Last night we did a walk to the lighthouse in the dark and stood under the 16 beams of light shooting 40km out to the ocean and rotating like a disco. We have spent plenty of time in the water, had a nice bike ride to Lighthouse and Treachery beaches and Brian showed us how to catch sand worms.
