Well we gave it everything we had, but the weather closed around us. We tried to press on yelling to everyone "just stay alive". Bubba went down with a severe gash to his left patella tendon (plenty of ice available) and E's nose hairs started to freeze. We are sad to say we pulled up 4.5km short but we got a 2 day lift pass so we'll get a good night sleep, carbo load and come back tomorrow to ride the bobsled and play golf, and listen to the music festival. Sunday is supposed to be sunny so that looks like our window to conquer the highest peak in the awesome Snowy Mountain Range.
They say it is better to try .. then to not try at all ... Those darn nose hairs were the downfall of the expedition - I think that also happened the Sir Edmund Hillary on his 1st attempt ... however the bobsled looks great ... Love Sammy ( Tarts & Farts - still smiling )
